The blade is highly resistant to stains and rust. Moreover, it is easy to sharpen yourself if the edge loses some of its sharpness over time.

Messermeister Avanta handle made of pakka wood

The handle is made of the beautiful pakka wood. This is a wood and resin composite that is very durable. It can withstand heat and moisture well. And it stays colourfast. This makes the handle virtually maintenance-free. However, we do not recommend putting the knife in the dishwasher. Due to the high heat and detergents, the pakka wood can become less beautiful. The handle has rounded edges. This makes these steak knives very comfortable to hold. The handle is attached to the full-tang blade with three rivets.
